The Boeing Co. Everett Factory

Finweek English Edition - - IN BRIEF -

Boeing 777 planes are manufactured at the company’s facility in Everett, Washington, USA. Adding capacity on the 777-300ER is part of Boeing’s quest to drum up orders for a best-selling aircraft line into the next decade as it prepares to start building the upgraded 777X. The number of years Albert Woodfox (68) was imprisoned in solitary confinement in Louisiana, USA, following the death of a guard during a 1972 prison riot. A US district judge ordered his unconditional release on 9 June. Woodfox has long maintained his innocence, which has been backed up by a scientific review of the evidence, a polygraph test and an eyewitness account.
