Mu­si­cian, an­thro­pol­o­gist and for­mer anti-apartheid ac­tivist Johnny Clegg (61), in­ter­na­tion­ally known as the “White Zulu”, is to be awarded the Of­fice of the Or­der of the Bri­tish Em­pire (OBE) by Queen El­iz­a­beth later this year. Clegg, who was born in the UK but moved to what is now Zam­bia when he was only six months old, de­scribed the award as a ca­reer high­light.
