AT MMI HOLD­INGS Lee po­si­tions fi­nan­cial well­ness brands in the mar­ket, fa­cil­i­tates key stake­holder re­la­tion­ships and in­te­grates sus­tain­abil­ity prac­tices in the busi­ness. She com­pleted her BCom de­gree in Ac­count­ing and Mar­ket­ing and then went on to do a BCom (Hons) in Mar­ket­ing. Af­ter work­ing a num­ber of years, she com­pleted an MBA. At the time she was in a spe­cial­ist po­si­tion but the MBA gave her a broader un­der­stand­ing and ex­po­sure to busi­ness. Lee spent four years in the FMCG in­dus­try, work­ing for Coca-Cola and Amal­ga­mated Bev­er­age In­dus­tries. Her fi­nan­cial ser­vices ca­reer started at Old Mu­tual, where she held man­age­ment po­si­tions in oper­a­tions and strat­egy, be­fore mov­ing to Mu­tual & Fed­eral as ex­ec­u­tive gen­eral man­ager for brand, cus­tomer and trans­for­ma­tion. When I was given a schol­ar­ship to study for an MBA. It gave me the right foun­da­tion for gen­eral man­age­ment po­si­tions and in­flu­enced my ca­reer path, es­pe­cially as I was en­ter­ing the fi­nan­cial ser­vices in­dus­try.
