MILLER ON LIFE AWAY FROM

THE KEYBOARD: “Writing is the lens through which I experience the world. This can be a good and a bad thing. One has to be careful not to retreat into the world of writing entirely. There is much life to be lived away from the keyboard.” MILLER ON THE VALUE OF

ART: “Writing, art and the sciences are the way we talk to each other over space and time, and across the barriers of death and age. We leave messages for people who will only be born in 200 years’ time, through the arts – just like those born 200 years before us left us messages. I’ve always found this to be a pretty incredible thing.”
