– Cope leader Mo­siuoa Lekota com­ments to Busi­ness Day af­ter the pub­li­ca­tion of Pres­i­dent Ja­cob Zuma’s “rep­ri­mand” to the min­is­ters in­volved with the up­grades at Nkandla. The Pub­lic Pro­tec­tor or­dered that the min­is­ters should be rep­ri­manded for “the ap­palling man­ner in which the Nkandla project was han­dled and state funds were abused”, a sen­tence Zuma quoted in the let­ter. This was fol­lowed by: “Pur­suant to the lat­ter I hereby de­liver the rep­ri­mand re­quired.”
