SA's mining industry is at risk of collapse due to political unrest, regulatory uncertainty and labour instability, with Sibanye Gold CEO Neal Froneman warning that investor sentiment is at the “worst” levels he’s seen. “It’s just very clear, we sit on a knife edge as an industry – it could well collapse,” he told Reuters.
