A trend is an identified pattern in a set of data. Trends are the notable evidence of change drivers in action.
Change drivers are the forces of change that underpin a trend. A number of change drivers usually work together to create a trend, but a single change driver can underpin multiple, sometimes very diverse, trends.
An enabler is a factor that helps or enhances a change driver, whereas friction is the natural resistance from the underlying system and blockers are forces that purposefully oppose a change.
