Two gre­at minds left an im­pact on E­den’s A­pac

Jo­lyon S­tof­fels, chai­r­per­son of E­den Dis­trict Mu­ni­ci­pa­li­ty's Au­dit and Per­for­man­ce Au­dit Com­mit­tee (A­pac) and Neil Me­te­lerk­amp, a mem­ber of the com­mit­tee, we­re re­cent­ly a­war­ded with cer­ti­fi­ca­tes of ap­pre­ci­a­ti­on for their de­di­ca­ti­on to the or­ga­ni­sa­ti­on throug­hout the y­e­ars.

Both S­tof­fels and Me­te­lerk­amp en­ded their ser­vi­ces at A­pac on 31 Au­gust. S­tof­fels ser­ved the com­mit­tee for se­ven y­e­ars as chai­r­per­son, and Me­te­lerk­amp ser­ved as com­mit­tee mem­ber for the last six y­e­ars. E­den Mu­ni­ci­pal Ma­na­ger Mon­de Stra­tu, ma­na­ge­ment, fel­low A­pac mem­bers and the In­ter­nal Au­dit Secti­on ex­pres­sed gra­ti­tu­de for their re­specti­ve con­tri­bu­ti­ons to the or­ga­ni­sa­ti­on. In

2013, S­tof­fels ser­ved on the A­pac com­mit­tees of four mu­ni­ci­pa­li­ties (Mos­sel Bay, Knys­na, Ge­or­ge and E­den) - a y­e­ar w­hen all of them re­cei­ved cle­an au­dits. He is still ser­ving as chai­r­per­son of Ge­or­ge Mu­ni­ci­pa­li­ty's A­pac.
