Hund­reds ta­ke part in bu­si­ness re­lay

He­a­vy rain did not pre­vent bu­si­nes­ses from all o­ver the Gar­den Rou­te to co­me in their mas­ses in sup­port of the Grant T­horn­ton bu­si­ness re­lay. The 17th an­nu­al Grant T­horn­ton bu­si­ness re­lay took pla­ce at 72 York S­treet on Wed­nes­day 25 Oc­to­ber.

As ma­ny as 110 te­ams of six mem­bers e­ach com­pe­ted in the walk or the run, both of which we­re 2km.

Di­rec­tor of Grant T­horn­ton, S­tef La­te­gan, says the bu­si­ness re­lay is an op­por­tu­ni­ty for em­ploy­ees of the bu­si­nes­ses to in­te­ract. "The oc­ca­si­on is for bu­si­nes­ses to co­me to­get­her, so­ci­a­li­se, net­work and build so­lid and fruit­ful re­la­ti­ons­hips."
