The talented playwriter, poet, actor, musician and comedian Johnathan Nkala will be performing his acclaimed oneman show, The Crossing, at the Oakhurst Insurance George Arts Theatre on Sunday 14 October at 17:00.

The Crossing is the truly inspirational story of this man's journey in search of a better life. His desperate quest saw him illegally crossing the border between Zimbabwe and South Africa ten years ago, facing incredible hardships, from malnutrition to swimming across a crocodile-infested Limpopo river, in search of his dreams. Today Johnathan is a legal temporary resident of South Africa.

The popular show has been performed in theatres and at schools and universities around South Africa and Zimbabwe. It toured six states in the United States of America… and is finally coming to George.

The tickets include cheese and wine and networking opportunities. Tickets are R100 and can be bought at Computicket or at the theatre office.
