An afternoon of jazz and picnicking
Victoria Bay Hills will be alive with music on Saturday 27 October as Hennie and Magda Schoeman are hosting local jazz quartet Sugar & Spice at the elegant Hilltop Country Lodge.
This is an exclusive retreat with breathtaking views over Wilderness, the Indian ocean and the Outeniqua mountains.
The lodge is also idyllically situated in the seclusion of a fynbos nature reserve between Victoria Bay and Wilderness.
Jazz lovers who would like to enjoy a lively afternoon of foottapping, swinging, standard jazz and Latin jazz, are welcome to bring their picnic baskets and drinks and kick back to memorable jazz classics.
The range of music will include Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, Cole Porter and Antonio Carlos Jobim. All the numbers from this era feature strongly in the repertoire of Sugar & Spice and will be enjoyed by all ages.
