This year Jenny Mor­ris is the head­liner who will trans­form cin­e­matic cui­sine into a real-life gourmet foodie experience. Fol­low­ing a screen­ing of Casablanca, she will cre­ate a feast in­spired by the flavours of Morocco. Plett Win­ter Won­der­land

The town’s first-ever pop-up ice rink will be at Cairn­bro­gie, where you can ex­pect glüh­wein and hot choco­late along­side old-school favourites such as tof­fee ap­ples and pop­corn. At night, the barn at Cairn­bro­gie will come alive for spe­cial themed events, in­clud­ing a 1970s dress-up skatathon. 5 – 16 July. Find more de­tails on Face­book.

Plett Wine & Bub­bly Fest

The first vines near Plett were planted in 2001 at Bra­mon. There are now more than 14 wine farms, many of which will be par­tic­i­pat­ing in this fes­ti­val over the sec­ond week­end in Oc­to­ber. Tak­ing place on Cen­tral Beach, it prom­ises two af­ter­noons of qual­ity quaffing ac­com­pa­nied by lo­cal food, snacks and mu­sic. plett-tourism.co.za
