Plett Winter Wonderland
The town’s first-ever pop-up ice rink will be at Cairnbrogie, where you can expect glühwein and hot chocolate alongside old-school favourites such as toffee apples and popcorn. At night, the barn at Cairnbrogie will come alive for special themed events, including a 1970s dress-up skatathon. 5 – 16 July. Find more details on Facebook.
Plett Wine & Bubbly Fest
The first vines near Plett were planted in 2001 at Bramon. There are now more than 14 wine farms, many of which will be participating in this festival over the second weekend in October. Taking place on Central Beach, it promises two afternoons of quality quaffing accompanied by local food, snacks and music. plett-tourism.co.za
