Curly strands grow slower than straight ones.
TRUTH The speed at which your hair grows is genetic. On average, hair grows 1.25cm a month. That’s 15cm a year. If you have waves, kinks or coils in your hair, you may not feel like you’re making much progress at all. Curly hair can shrink up to 30% its natural length, while coily hair shrinks up to 75% of its true length. Curly hair is also susceptible to dryness and damage. Treat your curls with moisturising masks and regular trims.
