What does glamour mean to you?

Glamour is effortless, timeless and elegant. It can be pared down and simple or flamboyant – what makes it glamorous is the ease with which it is executed. Glamour is never contrived.

What are the three most glamorous things in your wardrobe?

My Christian Louboutin shoes – no matter how simple the design, that flash of red on the soles elevates an outfit; my husband’s formal shirts; and a Burberry trench coat I’ve had for 10 years.

Who is your style icon?

Aerin Lauder epitomises modern grace and glamour, both in her personal style and in her interior decor. A beautiful, happy home is one of life’s greatest joys.

What’s the best style advice you’ve ever received?

Coco Chanel said, “Dress shabbily and they remember the dress. Dress impeccably and they remember the woman.” I agree, even though I only get it right about 40% of the time!
