Glamour (South Africa) - - Mind -

What does glamour mean to you?

I used to think that glamour was something created on the outside, but now I realise that confidence, grace and a healthy sense of self is true glamour. That’s what makes a beautiful look a glamorous one.

What are the three most glamorous things in your wardrobe?

A cream faux-fur throw which makes me feel like royalty; a black evening dress that I wear to exclusive events; and my trusty red lipstick, which adds a pop of glamour to everything.

Who is your style icon?

Beyoncé. She’s a curvy girl, but she works it to her advantage and always looks great on and off the stage. She’s created a style that’s totally her own, and I love that.

What’s the best style advice you’ve ever received?

The producer of an Safm show once told me, “To be great, you need to find your own mojo. Don’t try to be like anybody else.” I’ve applied this advice to my style, and try to bring my mojo to every outfit.
