Sleek centre partings

At Oscar de la Renta ( ABOVE), Orlando created precise centre partings by blowdrying hair straight and tucking the lengths casually behind the ears. Similarly at Charles Youssef, he used a parting to define models’ features, but pinned back a few strands and gave the lengths loose waves. “It’s simple and eye-catching,” Orlando explains. For the models sporting Afros and curls, Orlando says, “We embraced that texture and left the Afros to do their own thing. On curls, we still worked with a centre parting, but kept some eye-catching volume on the sides.” Want to get the look for yourself? All you need is a little hairspray to hold everything in place, keep it smooth and help define flyaways.
