The best career advice I’ve received

DJ Gareth Cliff once told me, “It’s not about you,” and I’ve applied this guideline to everything that I do. I’m mindful that whatever platform I’m on, TV, radio or any other, the focus should be on the viewer, the listener and the team. If you make everybody involved in a project look and feel good, the production will be a success. Gareth’s advice is also a constant reminder that I should never take things personally.
