Jeepers, but this thing flies!
The Grand Cherokee Trackhawk is the most powerful Cherokee Jeep has ever built. Its supercharged 6.2-litre V8 engine develops a whopping 520 kW of power and 875 Nm of torque, mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Its performance figures are equally impressive: 0–96km/h in 3.5 seconds, the quarter mile in 11.6 seconds at 186km/h, and a top speed of 288km/h. Due to massive Brembo brake calipers (400mm diameter discs front, 350mm at rear), it brakes from 96–0km/h in just 35 metres. Its tyres are Pirelli 295/45ZR20 Scorpion Verde All-Season or new Pirelli P Zero three-season tyres with an increased speed rating. The Trackhawk is equipped with Jeep’s Quadra-Trac on-demand four-wheel-drive system, which includes an electronic limited-slip rear differential and a single-speed active transfer case. The Selec-Track system on the Grand Cherokee Trackhawk uses performance-tuned software to preconfigure and distinguish the five dynamic modes: Auto, Sport, Track, Snow, and Tow, enabling drivers to choose a vehicle setting that ideally meets their requirements and ambient conditions.
