Maximi no. 2 is here!

Go! Camp & Drive - - News -

If you’re in the market for a small fold-up camping trailer, check out the new trailer from Maximi’s Frik Oosthuizen. Frik is famous for Maximi’s offroad caravan that’s been on the market for two years. He says this camping trailer is for campers who don’t want to climb up a ladder into the roof tent. You climb into bed inside the trailer. The trailer looks like a trailer with a lid. The mattress is in the lid section and the tent sail is fastened to the lid. When you open the lid, the tent folds open over the trailer. You climb down with a foldout step at the back. Frik did away with wood – the inner cupboards are made of modern light material. (He doesn’t want to share his secret. – Ed) The body is a steel framework that’s covered with an aluminium plate. On the left-hand side a fridge pulls out on a sliding frame from the body, and next to it are two cupboards, the doors of which form a work surface. The geyser and two gas bottles fit in the nosecone. What is optional? Amongst other things a 130 ℓ water tank, geyser and stove. The figures 3,51 (l) x 1,89 (b) x 1,46 m(h) – open 2,7 m high; tare ± 500 kg; carrying capacity ± 900 kg; GVM 1 400 kg Intended price R160 000 (standard) Contact 072 280 8492; info@maximi.co.za; maximi.co.za
