Rival’s lightweight bullbar

Russian 4x4 accessories manufacturer Rival has launched a new range of aluminium bullbars in South Africa. Rival’s product is made of a mixture of marine and aircraft-grade aluminium and weighs less than 50 kg, but it provides similar protection as steel does. The 6 mm aluminium plate has few joins, and where possible it’s punched from a single sheet of aluminium. Also included are LED fog lights and recovery points for a high-lift jack or kinetic straps. There’s also space on which to mount a winch. The bullbar complies with ADR69 standards for air bag deployment, which means neither your car’s warranty nor your air bags will be adversely affected.
