Things are moving at Dinokeng

Go! Camp & Drive - - News -

The owners of the Dinokeng Resort, one of the newest campsites in the Dinokeng Reserve, is not letting grass grow under their feet: They’ve also built a heated pool. The building where the pool is located has a colourful history. The previous owner filled in an old farm dam and converted it into a small church to host weddings, amongst other things. But they didn’t demolish everything and the roof of the church remained intact. The pool’s water is heated to between 35 and 36 °C throughout the year, says owner Coleen Pieterse. Coleen has also added another 13 stands to the existing 33. Four of these have their own bathroom with a shower, basin and toilet. The nine ordinary stands have grass, electricity, water, shade and a braai. Behind the existing bathrooms is another new ablution block. A second supertube will be installed in November and they’ve also recently opened a restaurant in the resort. Contact 063 771 6856 or 060 970 5990; info@dinokengre; dinokengre
