Out for the night

We all know it’s best to get your bed ready before you relax next to the campfire with something cold in your hand. And with a proper camping mattress you can set up your bed in a jiffy.

There are four basic requirements for a successful camping experience. Apart from location, facilities, and things to do, that is. Four things that you simply have to have in order to guarantee a good time. You need somewhere comfortable to sit, you need some place to put stuff, you need to be able to see what you’re doing after dark, and you need to have a good night’s rest. Everything else you can wing as you go, but if you fall short in any of these four requirements, your mood might sour before the first day of your camping trip is over. The place where you lie your head is arguably the most important of these. If you wake up grumpy after an uncomfortable night, it’s usually a struggle to regain your sunny disposition for the rest of the trip. Holidays are so much more pleasant when you have a proper camping mattress at hand. We took a lie-down on 13 of them to help you decide which one is best for you.
