Conqueror’s Platinum range is now also available for its off-road trailers and not just the off-road caravans anymore. Conqueror will first launch the package on its biggest off-road trailer, the Comfort. It’s automated and is also higher off the ground. The standard sliding leaf springs have been replaced with eye-to-eye leaf springs. Aluminium has replaced the steel used for anything that wasn’t part of the trailer construction, like the drawers. The A-frame has increased by 30 cm and the gas bottles have been moved from the back to the front. Another change is the drawer with a Weber Q1000 braai that slides out of the nosecone.

The rooftop tent opens with the push of a button and operates with a 12 V electrical pulley system. Conqueror uses this in the kitchen too. You simply press the button and the kitchen with its drawers slides out at the back of the trailer. Although a Platinum upgrade will cost you in the region of R60 000, the Comfort Platinum costs only R6 000 more than the standard model.
