Mobi Lodge is known for its unique design where the bedroom slides out of the righthand-side panel to create a giant living area in the trailer.

The manufacturer has followed the same approach with its Mobi X and built a trailer in the same form but almost half the size. It’s also built out of fibreglass and is basically just a double bed on wheels. Instead of the bedroom that slides out the whole rear panel slides out as one big shelf. On this is the gas bottle, ammo box and fridge. The in-line geyser is in the door and on the shelf is storage space for your portapotti when you’re towing

The door is to your left in front and you sit down on the outside part of the mattress and swing your legs in. The kitchen is to the left of the trailer with open shelves in the opposite panel. You can reach the shelves from inside and outside the trailer. There is a mesh section on the inside in front of the shelves. A rooftop tent fits on top of the trailer if you want to make space for two additional people.

It has a similar 12/220 V system as its big brother and the same counts for the 2,5 t axle and the 150 ℓ water tank. The Mobi X comes fully equipped with camp chairs, bedding and a braai. Only the rooftop tent is optional. The numbers From R198 000, GVM 1 500 kg
