Wizards on Wheels back in town
THE Wizards on Wheels show this coming Saturday will include a full day of entertainment for the whole family.
This popular annual event has grown from strength to strength over the years, and has become one of the biggest fixtures on the local motoring calendar.
The focus will be on cars and motorbikes, but there will be something for everybody.
Motoring clubs and individuals from around the region as well as motor dealers will be displaying, and a number of vehicles not previously seen will be there. Spectators can expect to see hot rods, muscle cars, racing cars, stock cars, vintage, classic and exotic cars and bikes.
Anyone with an old or exotic vehicle is welcome to display. All local motoring clubs will be represented, so it is also an opportunity for enthusiasts to meet.
There will be a live band, food and trade stalls and a flea market. A beer tent will be provided for the thirsty, and rugby fanatics will be catered for by means of a big screen. There will also be a “boot sale” for anyone wanting to buy or sell motoring-related items. Wizards on Wheels takes place at Port Rex Technical High School. Gates open to the public at 10am, but participants may enter from 7am and are asked to be set up by 9am. Entrance is R20 for adults and R10 for pupils.
