Warm weather with a drizzle of rain ahead
While the weekend starts off scorching, temperatures will mostly be pleasant and some rain should bring relief to many.
The coolest day will be Thursday with a maximum temperature of 22°C expected. No doubt the morning rain will cool off things, as will the 29km/h northeast winds.
Friday will be the hottest of the week with temperatures climbing to 28°C. No rain is forecast, but the wind will remain at a gusty 25km/h.
Saturday sees the rain dig its heels in and this is followed by a drop in temperature to 24°C. The wind should die down a little, coming in at a fresh 18km/h from the southwest.
Rain should continue through to Sunday morning, but should clear by lunch-time. Temperatures remain the same at 24°C and the wind will now switch to the east.
