FOOD FOR YOU AND THE BEES

We love Reel Gardening’s new Bee Food boxes, which contain nutritious biodegradable paper sheets with seeds for edible plants that will attract pollinators to your garden. You plant each paper strip vertically, with the coloured strip protruding above ground, and water it daily. The orange box, which you plant in spring, contains beans, basil and nasturtium seeds. The purple box, which is planted in autumn, contains borage, poppy and pea seeds. A portion of the proceeds goes to The Bee Effect, which works to address declining honeybee numbers in South Africa.
