Create a lifetime of holidays

go! - - Upfront -

Tell a man to take a holiday and he’s happy for (maybe) a week. Teach a man to camp and he’ll be smiling for the rest of his life – especially if he’s got the right equipment! Few things compare to pitching your tent underneath the canopy of a camel thorn tree at Sesriem in Namibia. Once you’ve unpacked the trailer and the fire is crackling, settle back into your comfy camp chair, reach into the built-in cooler bag on the side and take out a cold beer. Then watch as the sun’s last rays paint the Namib Desert orange. Life doesn’t get much better than this. The sounds of silence Tomorrow you’re going to explore the magnificent sand dunes at the nearby Sossusvlei, marvel at ancient dead trees at Dead Vlei and walk through Sesriem Canyon itself. It’s going to be a busy day, with much climbing ahead, but fortunately getting a good night’s sleep won’t be a problem tonight because you’ve come prepared. The trailer can carry a maximum weight of 290 kg, which means there’s plenty of space for camping gear and sleeping essentials like a good mattress and a stretcher. Nights in the desert can be freezing cold, but your hollow fibre sleeping bag will ensure you’re snug and warm and you definitely won’t wake up sore and stiff the next morning. Rested and relaxed, you are more than ready to tackle a monster dune like Big Daddy!
