Milnerton

A rip current dwarfs a huddle of surfers in the swells, just off Woodbridge Island near Milnerton. Surfers often use a rip like this to hitch a ride to the back line. Swimmers also take note: Look at how the rip peters out eventually. If you get stuck in one, don’t fight the current, just ride it until you’re able to swim to the side and back to shore.
