The cliffs of warped rock are home to lichen, lizards and lazy rap­tors rid­ing the ther­mals. On the lower sec­tions of the pass, you’ll find your­self strain­ing your neck to take it all in. Rather stop your car and get out to ap­pre­ci­ate the moun­tains and the stu­pen­dous road that some­how man­ages to find a way over them…
