Pop in at Parskuip

The Windmeul Kelder near Paarl launched its Parskuip Neighbourhood Marketplace last year. Pull in and stock up on olives, ham, cheese and seasonal goodies like grapes and waterblommetjies. There are also stalls selling everything from wooden toys and handbags to braai spice. If you visit on a Saturday, you can order breakfast, pizza or roosterkoek from the Kontreikombuis restaurant. There’s a playground for the kids. Where? Windmeul Kelder, corner of Paardeberg Road and the R44. Opening times: Marketplace open Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm and Saturday from 9 am to 3 pm.
