hris­ti­aan Bezuiden­hout has earned his way on to the Sun­shine Tour for 2016 af­ter win­ning The Big Easy Tour Or­der of Merit. The 19-yearold rookie pro­fes­sional, pre­vi­ously South Africa’s stand­out am­a­teur per­former, won two of the five events in which he played on this sec­ondary tour, in Swazi­land and at Glen­dower, and lost a play­off in The Big Easy Tour Cham­pi­onship at Cop­per­leaf when go­ing for his hat-trick of vic­to­ries. He earned R70 465. Bezuiden­hout has also had three wins on the IGT Tour, and was in­vited by Jo­hann Ru­pert to play in the Al­fred Dun­hill Links Cham­pi­onship in Scot­land. Daniel Ham­mond was sec­ond on the The Big Easy Tour Or­der of Merit with R53 000 af­ter win­ning the Tour Cham­pi­onship, and was fol­lowed by Gideon Pien­aar, Michael Palmer and Bryn Flana­gan, who all earn cards for the Sun­shine Tour.
