Abo­gey-free 67 saw Lyle Rowe come from six shots back in the fi­nal round to win the Golden Pilsener Zim­babwe Open at Royal Harare. It’s the sec­ond tour vic­tory for the 29-year-old from Port Eliz­a­beth (see Think Young, Play Hard on page 28), fol­low­ing his 2014 Zam­bia Sugar Open tri­umph. Rounds of 69-69-72-67 saw Rowe scoop the R285 300 win­ner’s cheque, two ahead of Dy­lan Frit­telli, fol­lowed by Bryce Eas­ton and Louis de Jager on 280. In only his fourth start on the Sun­shine Tour, Swe­den’s Christofer Blomstrand scored his rst win af­ter clos­ing with a sen­sa­tional 10-un­der 63 at Lusaka GC in the Zam­bia Sugar Open. Mak­ing an ea­gle two at the par-4 eighth, nine birdies and one bo­gey, the 24-year-old rookie nished an hour be­fore the nal group on 276 (73-71-69-63), even­tu­ally win­ning by three from C J du Plessis. James Kamte and J P Stry­dom were next on 280.
