SUN CITY GALLERIES WILL HAVE ENHANCED EXPERIENCE
The new elevated global status of the NGC comes with new initiatives for fans.
“The tournament has changed dramatically and grown immensely, and we are making several changes to reflect this at Sun City,” said Dan Sevel, Sun International’s Sports Marketing Manager who will from 2017 take over as head of the $7-million tournament. “We are creating a more holistic experience for the golf fan, starting with a new fan experience at the main gate, where fans can enjoy individual experiences along a golf boardwalk.”
Tournament director Alastair Roper says the bigger field has presented him with an opportunity to widen the viewing focus for fans across all the holes on the course, and not just the ninth and 18th.
Sevel says that the Sun City Entertainment Centre has gone through a dramatic change to modernise the complex.
