As a professional golfer my mission is to inspire people to play golf, and in line with this I have enlisted the help of my son Benjamin

Golf rounds are declining, and my challenge to golfers is to encourage your family and friends to take up the game. Approach a PGA professional to guide you. Golf has given me a wonderful opportunity to bond and spend time with Benjamin, family, clients and friends. Golf is a healthy pursuit. A recent study concludes that “golf adds five years to your life.”

The most important fundamental in getting new golfers started is the set-up, or shape as I refer to it. It’s the shape of the body that is evident in all athletic endeavours. When setting up for golf, try and get the left side straight and right side with a slight angle or tuck. I ask all my pupils to take up this position. It can also be described as looking like a reverse K. This tip ensures that a golfer’s body moves in the correct way during the golf swing.
