THE ‘EYE’ IN YOUR CHEST

Golf Digest (South Africa) - - The Locker Room -

High handicaps do not trust a wedge’s loft to lift the ball in the air. They try to help the ball up or scoop it up by either using their hands or body. Good short game players let their chest lead the arms on the downswing and finish with the chest pointing at the target. A good image or swing thought is to imagine an eye in the middle of your chest. The “eye” must point to the target upon completion of the shot.
