New corporate teams event for Sun City

Sun In­ter­na­tional has in­tro­duced a new corporate team tour­na­ment that will de­but at Sun City from Au­gust 28-30. The Corporate Masters, spon­sored by the pan-African ICT ser­vice provider SEACOM in part­ner­ship with Sun In­ter­na­tional, aims to be­come the pre­mier corporate tour­na­ment in South Africa. Com­pa­nies will be rep­re­sented by teams of two golfers com­pet­ing in a 36-hole Sta­ble­ford com­pe­ti­tion at the Gary Player CC and Lost City Course, sanc­tioned by the SA Golf As­so­ci­a­tion.

Rob Collins, Chief Op­er­at­ing Of­fi­cer of Sun In­ter­na­tional, says the SEACOM Corporate Masters com­pletes Sun In­ter­na­tional’s ex­po­sure to ev­ery ma­jor sector of SA golf.“As a com­pany we are steeped in golf,” he said.“We sup­port women’s golf, and are busy dou­bling our ex­po­sure to tour­na­ments on the Sun­shine Tour, which ob­vi­ously in­cludes our flag­ship tour­na­ment, the Ned­bank Chal­lenge.The corporate el­e­ment was some­thing miss­ing un­til now.”
