Good Housekeeping (South Africa) - - YOUR FEEDBACK -

Secret Santa gift. Yay for me!

I was blown away by the article ‘I Quit Drinking’ in the February issue. This was such a brave, honest and open thing to share. I thought I was the only one who had such a relationship with alcohol. I’ve also been a teetotaller for the past few months, and it’s been an amazing feeling of renewed energy and zest for life.

I found the article so enlightening and also scary, as I’d been unaware of SA’s stats for alcohol consumption. They’re shockingly high! I’m so glad I’ve made this change and, as the writer says, enjoy ‘real sleep’ as opposed to ‘blotto oblivion’. Helene Smuts MARCH 2017 MAG & BAG Just a quick thank you for the small but extremely thoughtful gesture. I’ve just subscribed to GH and was blown away at receiving not only my mag, but the free cotton bag as well.

I’ve often felt disadvantaged as a subscriber of different magazines, as I don’t usually get the free gifts that often accompany monthly issues.

I haven’t had a decent chance to go through the magazine yet, but that’s what this weekend is all about. Yashmitha P
