A bit of makeup magic can instantly deflect from crow’s-feet or slightly droopy lids – but instead of waving a wand, just flick up your eyeliner. First, apply your mascara. Then, gently pull up the skin at the outer corner of your lid to make the inner rim easier to see and line it with a waterproof black pencil or pen liner. ‘Next, remove your finger and apply the liner along your top lash line, drawing a tiny tick at the outer corner that mimics the curve of your outermost lash, as if you’re extending it a little,’ says Martin. ‘This helps the lid look lifted so you appear more awake overall, but without looking like obvious winged eyeliner.’ GH
