‘With­out a doubt, the thing

I love most about Per­ron is the colour­ful en­ergy, from the fes­tive in­te­rior to the in­ter­est­ing drinks and au­then­tic Mex­i­can food.

‘My favourite dish is the

Los Mas Pe­quenos, which is a se­lec­tion of mini tapas, as well as the Pop­corn Pollo Taco and the prawn in adobe chilli. Oh, and the Holy Mole — grilled chicken with a spicy green herb and pump­kin­seed mole served with Mex­i­can po­ta­toes, roasted salsa and cream. The most im­pres­sive drink is the com­mu­nal jug of Mo­jito that is im­me­di­ately brought to the ta­ble on ar­rival.

‘Most im­pres­sive of all is that the own­ers have cap­tured the fi­esta vibe with ri­otous colour and mari­achi tunes blar­ing melod­i­cally all night.’
