1. Wash, dry and process the fruit in a blender. 2. Place purée in freezer bags, laid down flat. Press out any air be­fore seal­ing the bags. 3. Place the bags, laid down flat in a cooler, and cover with dry ice (be sure to wear gloves and long sleeves).

4. Place the cooler, lid off, in a deep freezer. Af­ter six hours, cover the cooler with the lid. Af­ter 24 hours, the dry ice should all be gone, which means it’s ready. 5. Blend the freezedried purée to a fine pow­der.
