Po­li­ce warn of in­cre­a­sed bur­gla­ries

GRAAFF-REINET — The Graaff-reinet a­rea was on­ce a­gain spa­red the wrath of se­ri­ous cri­me for the re­por­ting pe­ri­od of No­vem­ber 20 to 27 re­ports po­li­ce spo­kes­per­son, W/O Ger­rie van Rooy­en.

But, warns the po­li­ce, the­re is a no­ta­ble in­cre­a­se in bur­gla­ries with no less than 12 ca­ses re­por­ted du­ring the past week.

Bur­gla­ries to bu­si­nes­ses we­re re­por­ted in the in­dus­tri­al a­rea, at the Mu­ni­ci­pal Traf­fic De­part­ment and the Mig­da­lor Mi­nis­tries Church in Kroon­va­le, bur­gla­ries at re­si­den­ti­al pro­per­ties in­clu­de Vink Street in Kroon­va­le, S­har­ly­ne Court in Ka­roo Street, Cy­press Gro­ve (two ca­ses) as well as Paul Kru­ger Street.
