New com­mis­sion­ers named


Pres­i­dent Ja­cob Zuma has ap­pointed new com­mis­sion­ers to serve in the Public Ser­vice Com­mis­sion. The Pres­i­dency on Wed­nes­day said the Pres­i­dent has ap­pointed the com­mis­sion­ers for a pe­riod of five years.

They are Clara Phumelele Nz­i­mande, ad­vo­cate Richard Khaliphile Sizani and Dr Tholu­muzi Bruno Luthuli.

“Pres­i­dent Zuma wishes the new com­mis­sion­ers all the best in their new im­por­tant re­spon­si­bil­i­ties,” the Pres­i­dency said in a me­dia re­lease.

The Public Ser­vice Com­mis­sion is a reg­u­la­tory agency whose re­spon­si­bil­i­ties in­clude, among oth­ers, over­sight of the telecom­mu­ni­ca­tions in­dus­try.
