On the job
The laminated floor and Novilon beneath it were both lifted. The entire surface was covered with glue which had to be removed with a blowtorch and a scraper – otherwise the paint wouldn’t stick.
Then it was painted with Mark’s Paints’ Auto Paint; the colour is a blend of white and black.
After a bit of trial and error, the final colour works well with the black slate floor. The paint was easily applied with a roller.
Once the floor was painted, it was time to tackle the cupboards.
