Paint the TV stand

An old white melamine TV stand was also transformed with paint to look like TNT boxes found in the Minecraft game. Here’s how: 1 The unit was cleaned thoroughly with sugar soap and then left to dry completely. 2 Two areas were demarcated with masking tape where the TNT letters should go. 3 A coat of primer (try Dulux Supergrip) was applied to the rest of the unit and left to dry (about 2 hours). 4 Then two coats of Dulux Pearlglo in the colour Fire Cracker 3 were applied. Remember to let the first coat dry completely (at least 2 hours) before painting a second layer. 5 Isabel cut the TNT letters from black cardboard and pasted them on with modge podge. She then covered them with four layers of modge podge, allowing each coat to dry before applying the next one.
