It helped that I only had a small space to tackle. If you don’t have a lot of money to ren­o­vate or re­dec­o­rate, fo­cus on a small area to save on time and ma­te­rial.

We used left­over paint, pil­lows and other items we no longer use in our home to liven up the space.

I knew how I wanted it to look, so I just searched un­til I found the items I was af­ter. I also make a lot of craft items such as wall art and vinyl tiles that work well in­side a car­a­van, so if one of these prod­ucts didn’t sell, I just used it here! What do you en­joy most about your new car­a­van? The fact that our chil­dren love it. On our first trip, the kids made new friends and played out­side for hours. Not once did they watch tele­vi­sion or play on their ipads or phones. What’s next? We’ve just re­done our kitchen at home, so I think I’m done with dust for at least the next two years. Although a swim­ming pool would be nice...
