Make the seat frame by at­tach­ing two 450mm lengths (22 x 69mm planed pine) be­tween the ends of the 1 000mm lengths with screws. Do ex­actly the same for the back­rest frame us­ing the 22 x 44mm lengths. Place the seat frame and the back­rest frame on the two 1 000 x 500mm lam­i­nated pine sheets and drill pi­lot holes. Screw the frames to the seat and back­rest re­spec­tively.

Mea­sure 600mm from one end of your work sur­face and draw a pen­cil line at right an­gles to the edge of the work sur­face. Mea­sure and mark 450mm from the edge of the pen­cil line and draw a line at right an­gles to the end of the work sur­face. Place the 22 x 95 x 700mm piece (front leg) on the first pen­cil line and place the 22 x 95 x 725mm piece (back leg) di­ag­o­nally from the cor­ner of the work sur­face on the sec­ond line. Screw the seat frame be­low the 450mm mark to the legs. Make sure the short sides of the frame are flush with the front and back of the re­spec­tive legs. Re­peat on the other side of the seat frame.
