WINNING LETTER Mrs C Tlaga of Benoni writes

What a wonderful magazine, from the editor’s letter to the back page by Riana. I’ve seen your magazine on the shelves before and have been tempted to buy it a few times. This morning, my son-in-law dropped me off at our local shopping centre so I could run a few errands and we arranged for him to collect me at noon. I finished what I needed to do, with an hour to spare. So, I decided to treat myself to icedcoffee (something I haven’t done in a while) and I needed something to browse through...

I’m 70 years young, my husband of 42 years died over a year ago and my daughter and her two children live with me. One of these days, she’ll go to live on her own and I’ll need to downsize – and your magazine is a treasure trove of ideas!

To all the editorial staff: congratulations on a wonderful magazine; it will be on my shopping list every month now. PS My daughter is typing this for me on her computer as I’m a bit ‘technologically challenged’; my cellphone is still the old type – no swiping finger on the screen. As long as I can receive and send SMSes and calls, I’m happy! I was inspired to do something creative with this mandala which I found in your Paint it! 2016 – none of the sides are the same!
