Q: I was revisiting my older issues of Home when a really cool piece of art, a light orange geometric print, caught my eye on page 52 of your November 2016 issue. Who is the artist? – Lauren Terblanche, Sea Point A: The print is by Kristina Krogh, a Danish artist and designer. You can view her work and get details on her website kkrogh.dk.

Q: I came across your basic bread recipe on your website recently (originally published in 2014). It seems like a lot of yeast for 1kg flour. Is it correct? – Connie Beukes on Facebook A: Our food editor Johané Neilson says it is indeed more yeast than normal, but she finds that for home bakers who sometimes don’t knead the dough enough, it gives a very nice, light result. Feel free to use just a single sachet of instant yeast if you prefer. >>
