House and Leisure Before and After - - KITCHEN -

Kerry made use of large industrial pendant lights, not only as a feature but to focus the light on the workspaces. Nicholas Bekker of Radiant Lighting gives us his take on what to consider when lighting a kitchen space: 1. Less is always more when lighting a kitchen; two or three fittings is enough, not 20. 2. Industrial-style pendant lights are a great option for a kitchen because they look good and offer really effective light reflection and distribution. 3. When choosing pendants, look for ones that use globes that are freely available. The last thing you want is to struggle to find replacements.
